The Great Salt Lake

This is a photo taken out at the western border of The Great Salt Lake. A local photographer and environmentalist Charles Uibel has inspired me to spread the word about our dying lake. The colors that you see in the photo come from the many brine shrimp that inhabit the lake. The island in the distance is our famous Antelope Island.

Reflections

Taken outside of Salt Air just before the winter storm was about to come in. The last minutes of sunlight fell over the valley before the night had consumed us.

 Antelope Island

This picture is of Antelope Island with a mist settling in over the water.

Golden Sunset

A beautiful Utah sunset near Ogden. I took this picture to depict the two different roads and how they contrast from each other.

Capture The Sea

This is a picture of David Crane lying on the beach of The Great Salt Lake. He is capturing a picture of the foam as the wind blows it on shore.

Junk Of The Lake

This is a picture of an old tire that has been left in the lake. The lake contains many other tires like this which contribute to much of the polution within it. Within feet of this tire I found 10 other tires lying in the water.

The Last Goodbye

HDR Image of my brother watching the sun go down over The Great Salt Lake. Combination of 3 images creates the dramatic effect that almost seems surreal.
